I’m having a weird glitch. Right after I interacted with Sargatanas and it started flashing back to how Mondo died, the screen turned into a background that said DEAD repeatedly, then it booted me back to the menu. The reloading the autosave causes that to just happen again.

Best three hours and fifteen minutes I've spent playing this game. The movement reminded me of persona in a way which was really cool, especially the maze areas where I had to find and kill every demon for the body parts of the president, which was so confusing and fun, I literally had to recreate some of the mazes on paper so I can make sure I wasn't going in circles and even with that, I still went in circles. I wished there was more to the story but either way it was really good. I don't know If I missed secret things such as after becoming Satan, if the champion would be there or not, or the door in that area every time you die. I don't know if there is an item that is supposed to help you go to that area without always having to die lol... If I did please tell me so I can play again the whole entire thing again when I am bored and be able to finish the little things. Game was really amazing!!!!

Hey! Thank you so much for the comment! Funny that you mention the movement reminding you of Persona, Persona 1 and the SNES SMT games are some of my inspirations.

As for stuff you missed, there are a couple things. After the Satan fight the Colosseum will have a fight with the champion and a rematch with Shiva. As for the locked door in Sheol; You can find the “Hellish Key” in the same room as the final boss behind a barrier, but the “Angel Talisman” is needed to get through. The Talisman is hidden in the Hellscape.

And there is an item to return to Sheol so you don’t have to die to return! It’s the “Hell Stone” the demon Charybdis drops it.

Thanks again for the kind words, I’m really glad you enjoyed the game!

Hm, just played 'If Bugs Could Smoke Weed, They Would' and realized quickly that it had a much better framerate. And, Satan's castle has a slightly better framerate than the area outside it, thinking about it. Could something be done about this? It takes holding arrow keys to move forward here, and now I know it's probably not intentional. Reducing render distance doesn't help.

Looking into, I saw I can update the "nw.js" leading to a performance boost.
If you redownload the game it'll be updated, just add your save file to it.
Hopefully that helps out!

Movement is a lot better, though turning is still somewhat jittery in some areas. Defeated both arena bosses though.

It's possible to become stuck on the staircase in the memory section, by moving to the side of it (I also spoke to a skeleton). Euthanasia doesn't seem to work here.

Is it one of the staircases on the bottom? I'm trying to find where it's at so I can fix it.

I recall it was either near the middle or the top of the staircase. It was a pretty long staircase. I wish I screenshotted but forgot I could post those to Itch.

Was it after you entered the building? Or outside?

This room.

Immediately turn right and move.

Stuck.

Would be nice if I could save outside of death, though. Tragic I'll need to go back here a third time later. Or is that what euthanasia is for? In that case, too bad it doesn't work here.

Okay I see what you're saying, I just tried it out. Seems like you're able to walk on top of the skeletons and zombies for some reason, and it causes you to get stuck.

Just updated the game. I added autosaving when going between locations and this room should be fixed now as well. Thank you so much for letting me know about it!

I seem to be going in circles and the only thing I can find is some demon that one-shots me named Valac?

Okay, it seems they're much weaker the second time you fight them?

Yes, you need to die to get to Sheol and be powered up by Abraxas. Later in the game you can find an item to take you to Sheol rather than having to die.
